My grandparents came to see me this weekend. We had a GREAT time! I can't wait to see everybody at Thanksgiving.

I hit a big milestone today. While I was eating lunch, I grabbed the spoon from Mommy and started feeding myself. Not too shabby for a 16 month old. I am going to be very independent!

Playtime!

I went to my 15 month doctor's appointment yesterday and got 4 shots - YUCK! I weigh 24 lbs. 12 oz. and am 32 and 5/8 inches long. The doctor said I am doing great!

After my appointment, I got to go and visit my friends Caroline and Jacqueline Brown at their pretty new house. Mom really appreciated Kris letting us drop by!

Thank goodness it is getting cooler! I can wear my cute fall dress that Cousins Jeffrey, Elizabeth, Sophie and Charlotte gave me. Unfortunately, mom has a hard time getting a good picture because I am always moving!

Monday Morning with Mom

Tammy was a little late this morning so I got to spend some time playing with mom. I ran all over the house while mom chased me. She might be tired when she gets to the office this afternoon.

My mom has had a bad cold this week and my dad brought her a celebrity magazine to read. Well, I have to say that magazine was really interesting! My Aunt Carol would be so proud!

Visit with Great Grandmother McDonald

I went and had dinner with my great grandmother a few weeks ago. WOW, what fun! She even let me put my feet up on her kitchen counter.

Aunt Peggy's Birthday Party

I know it has been a while since my last post. I have just been so busy with the end of summer. I have been taking lots of walks and reading all of my books. I went to a birthday party for my great aunt Peggy a few weeks ago. I got to play with all of my cousins. I had a great time!

Fun in Gainesville!

I had a great time on Saturday. I went to see Pops, Grammy, Aunt Carol and Uncle Dusty. We had a fantastic lunch and I ate squash, butter beans and creamed corn at the table with the rest of the family. I really am a big girl now.

Thanks Grammy for making such a great lunch... and Pops for creaming the corn. It was delicious!

Pops, I love my new book! I played with it all day on Sunday.

Poppy and Doll-Doll,

Thank you so much for having a birthday party for me last weekend! I had so much fun visiting with you and the rest of the family. I LOVE my CD! I listen to it all the time and like to hear them say my name. Dad can't wait for me to wear my GA Tech outfit this fall when we watch football games together.

Fun with Friends!

Well, I had my one year check-up on Friday. I got 4 shots and my finger pricked twice - NO FUN! But, on the way home, Mom did take me by to see my friends Jacqueline and Caroline Brown. I hope I have the opportunity to play with them again soon.
